Holiday Closures? Use Prorated Billing!

You probably know how to use ClassJuggler's prorated billing features when you enroll a student and how this feature works with all tuition types: monthly, per class, and total. But did you know; prorated billing can also help you handle the "Closed For The Holiday" days on your calendar? This feature, when run with your Billing > 4.Post Tuition billing cycle step, identifies dates you have set up as "closed" on your ClassJuggler calendar, and then factors that into the calculation of tuition fees posted for that month for all families when this option is checked. This is a great way to adjust for those holidays.

To handle prorated fees, use this optional feature (see the checkmark in the image below) when running your Post Tuition billing cycle step:

Be sure to check out the Online Help Guide by visiting the "Billing Cycle - Step 4 Post Tuition" page for more information on this useful tuition billing option.

UDMA – That's a Wrap!

In October, we flew to Madison, Wisconsin to represent ClassJuggler at the United Dance Merchants of America (UDMA) conference and expo. This dance resource and costume show was a great opportunity for us to introduce ClassJuggler to a whole new batch of dance studio owners, sign up a few of them as new customers, and meet some of our current clients. This was ClassJuggler's last show for the year.

We are already looking forward to shows coming in 2023, including a new UDMA venue in San Francisco, CA. Right in our own backyard! A great destination conference for anyone looking to add a few vacation days to visit nearby wine country, culture, art, and amazing sights!
