On Sunday, January 15, ClassJuggler moved its servers to a new home, where they will stay for the next three to five years. We are really excited about our infrastructure upgrade. Many of you have already noticed the big speed boost to our software from the rack of new servers we implemented.
We are powering our West Coast data facility on modern 10-core CPU servers all equipped with high speed, low failure rate SSD (solid state drive) storage. These state-of-the-art servers will not only bring significant speed improvements, but also improved security and failure mitigation.
We have also taken the added step to implement a 2-zone failover plan for our equipment so that, if our primary West Coast facility goes completely offline for an extended period, we will be able to spin up ClassJuggler at our East Coast hosting facility quickly so you can keep working.
This has been a huge project, and we hope you enjoy the faster speeds and added peace of mind that we are investing heavily to ensure ClassJuggler is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days each year.
It's surprising, but we still find a few dance studios, swim schools, martial arts schools, gymnastics and other clients that do not have a business presence on Facebook or other major social media sites, such as Twitter and Google+. There are likely more advantages to having your business on Facebook and other social sites than you realize.
Setting up a social media presence for your business is often easier than you think, requiring little more than filling out forms with info about your business. You can always improve upon your social media site after launch by adding images and becoming more creative in your posting activity. But getting started is important!
If you have social media sites already or as soon as you set up any e-mail us to let us know about it. We often provide free promotion for our clients via our ClassJuggler Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Google+ pages, telling others about your business or social media sites. And, as they say, "free is a very good price."
