ClassJuggler News — August 2020

Congratulations, Alexia!

This August marks the 5-year anniversary for our own Alexia Rodriguez.

Alexia is a great asset to ClassJuggler and all our clients. She has deep knowledge of ClassJuggler's many features and is always here to help you with your questions.

Thanks for all you do, Alexia!

Coming Soon — Class Tuition Templates

For the last couple releases of ClassJuggler, we have focused on features that are not only useful, but were specifically designed for the immediate needs of our clients during the pandemic. Our last release introduced the "classes for today" section in the Customer Portal as well as the new virtual class links to help parents easily join your Zoom, WebEx, Google Meet or other video streaming classes.

With our next release, coming very soon, we are introducing another feature you've been asking for, Class Tuition Templates. This new feature will speed updating your class pricing tables.

Many of you have called to ask if there was a quick way to change all of your class's tuition, due to necessary pricing adjustments during the pandemic. Currently, each class has to be updated manually, adding a lot of extra administration. With Class Tuition Templates, you'll be able to set up a tuition pricing table once, and then copy it to as many classes as you want to speed your updates.

Are You Thinking About Fall Classes and Registration?

ClassJuggler has the features to help you prepare!

Even though summer is not yet over, planning for the Fall now will put you ahead when customers are ready to enroll. Here's how:
  • Copy Class & Mass Copy Class — can help you copy individual classes (using them as a template) to use for your new sessions. Copy classes individually or copy a large group of classes for a new session.
  • Mass Status Change — run at the end of a session, converts all students who are not actively enrolled in a class to an inactive status to help you better manage your students over time.
  • Customer Confirmation Statements — As you complete your enrollment period for Fall classes, use the Customer Confirmation Statements Report to email or print confirmations showing each customer the classes they have chosen for their family. This is a great way to get corrections and changes from customers right before the new classes start.
  • Account Categories — Now is a great time to start using account categories to label your new classes so that each tuition charge will be "tagged" with the chosen account category. This gives you the ability to run very detailed reports by account category to see how much income a particular class or group of classes is earning your business.
  • Customer Portal — It's a good time to start using our popular Customer Portal so your customers can self-register, set up payment information, shop for classes, and even join your virtual classes in one-click all from the comfort of their own home, and without you or your staff lifting a finger!
  • Merchant Processing — Empower your customers! Let them set up a recurring payment account and make payments any time with their Visa, MC, Amex, or Discover card (credit or debit). Your customers demand it, and it helps you save hours of admin time and costs dealing with cash and checks.

Watch and Learn

Our ever-growing Watch & Learn video tutorial library is a handy way to "go deep" on a particular feature or tool within ClassJuggler. Have you seen these ones?

  • Virtual Classes Links: In this video, we show you how you can use the Customer Portal more effectively to help you connect your customers to your virtual classes.
  • Student Enrollment: In this one, you'll learn where and how you can enroll a student in ClassJuggler.
  • Disabling Comcast/Xfinity SPAM filtering: Here, we walk you through the steps to disable Xfinity/Comcast's spam filters when this feature keeps you and your customers from receiving ClassJuggler emails.

And as always, don't hesitate to reach out with your questions...

We really want to know if you have any suggestions for how ClassJuggler can help your businesses continue to operate as efficiently as possible during the pandemic.
